Nuvaring side effects?

I just had my baby 3 weeks ago today and when I go for my appointment in 3 more weeks I'm defiantly getting on birth control. I don't want any implants, IUDs, so I'm think about the Nuva ring. Have any of you ladies on the nuvaring had a bad experience? Thank you!

Two of my kids are 13 months apart because the Nuva ring didn't work!! I had used it before and didn't have a problem so after I had my son I went back on it and 5 months later found out we were pregnant again!

I was on it for years before getting pregnant. Hardly any side effects, actually seemed to positively influence the frequence of my migraines. There are some recent studies that find elevated risk of clots forming so that might be something to consider.

I found it a very convenient type of contraception.

I know people that love it but I couldn't get it to stay in. Sorry tmi. I tried every technique but it continued to push down and was very uncomfortable.

Had the Nuvaring for years until last year. It made my blood pressure go up. Other them that it was great.

Nuvaring gave me the worst cramps of my life and I bled way more than normal. My SO was so concerened he wanted me to go to the ER. I pulled that thing out and threw them all away.

It was horrible for me. I was on it for about 6 months. The last 2 months were horrible. I had migraines, puking, nausea, hot flashes and just felt like shit. The day after I took it out I felt so much better. 
My friend and sister-in-law have been using the ring for years and love it.

I'm thinking about getting it also. A friend of mine has it and she loves it. She said she will never go to a different birth control.

I HATED the Nuva ring! It gave me giant ovarian cysts that ruptured and caused me to be so extremely sick. I have had 3 friends get pregnant on NuVa Ring as well :/

Idk If I'm a good person for advice , because any hormones with birth control make me insane. I tried the nuva ring and I got super fat with a LOT of discharge. I hate feeling wet at all down there so I got off of it. And I'm talking I gained like 30 pounds in just a few months.

But I do know other women who have it and love it. The only birth control I liked was the IUD.
