I agree. Just tell the truth. It's not going to be the easiest thing you've ever done but I think you'll feel better in the long run. I also got pregnant at a young age, and I didn't confide in my mom. I regret that and still have never told her. I'm almost 40.

Tell her the truth. Just be honest and willing to listen to her shocked emotions. Be strong. Also remember that there are other options such as adoption of you really decide you can't handle the burden. If there is someone else in your family that you are closer to like an aunt or your grandma, you can ask them to be with you when you announce this. This is going to be a very tough 9 months for you as well as your family so let's not pretend it won't be. You have to be very courageous from this point on and hold yourself together as a woman and mother of you do decide to keep this child.

Even though you have said that you do not want to consider abortion, know that you have a right to it if you change your mind and will not be evil or bad or weak for making such a decision.

Oh gosh, well you need to be brave and sit her down to talk to her, try doing it when she's not busy with something else and she can focus solely on you. Are you keeping the baby??
