Ladies, what would you do?

So my husband is a mechanic at a body shop, and he always takes off his ring because he is afraid of scratching the paint. Which is fine... But, he NEVER remembers to put it back on at the end of the day. I dont think he has worn his ring in over 3 weeks now... What would you do, say, or feel about this situation?

My husband is a mechanic too and he doesn't wear his ring because in their industry if they injure themselves they sometimes have to cut the ring off and in rare incidences they can't get the ring off they take the finger. I would just talk to him about how it hurts your feelings. Mine has forgotten it on occasion but not that consistent...even if he did though we got our bands tattooed on for that very reason I told him the bitches will know you're married one way or another!

You could buy him a rubber one like athletes  wear, that way he doesn't have to worry about the paint and you can feel better about him not wearing a ring.

Get a Qalo band. It's a silicone ring. My husband wears one! I have one for if my fingers swell during prgnancy and i can't wear my rings anymore. They're super comfy and come in all dofferent colors.

I haven't worn mine in a while my hands are still swollen.  My dad was a mechanic and he didn't wear a ring for 20 years. Their hands get pretty abused and his ring anyway didn't fit after a while because of the shape his hands are in. Maybe ask him to wear it on days off?

This sounds like my husband and I. He works construction and never remembered to put the ring back on until recently. I had to make it clear that it would mean a lot to me if he wore it at least on weekends. He did not like it when I asked him how he would feel if I never wore my engagement and wedding rings. Though I wish he wouldn't keep it in the medicine cabinet just above the sink.

Meh. I would just ask him to get in the habit of wearing it on the weekend or if we go out in the evening. I would t be upset though. Actually, I hate wearing rings because they bother my hands and I am also afraid of losing them so I probably won't ever wear one.

My dad hasnt worn his wedding ring in years. Had to have it cut off 3 times as he is a welder/fabricator and either hurt his finger or dropped something last time almost degloved his finger. Much safer if you work with you hands to just not wear one
