How can you tell if the pill is working?

I started taking the pill July 1st, and before this I was never aware of when I ovulated, but now I'm showing all these signs I think go with ovulation. Light, pink fluid, achiness. But I thought the pill stopped ovulation?

Do I need a different pill?

It takes 7-14 days to be protected by the pill.

Spotting, irregular periods, cramping etc are very normal for the first 3-6 months.

It could be that the dosage of your pill is too weak. I started on a 20/100 pill and that basically gave me a period for a month before I went back to my gyno and she put me on a stronger pill. It's been over 6 months and everything's perfect! Good luck sorting this all out x

Im not sure all pills do (i could be wrong) but it usually take a month for the pill to be working and it cant take a few months for your body to adjust to the changes
