Have you ever been in a relationship but liked someone else? What did you do? Did you break up with the person you were in a relationship with or just ignore the feelings for the other person until they passed?

This has happened to me. I firmly believe that a relationship should die not because I may have feelings (which I would never act on) for someone else, but because my feelings for the person I'm with have changed. If my relationship is good, and I love my boyfriend/husband/whoever, than there is no reason to throw that away for something that only might be actually good. If the relationship isn't going well, we will break up and then I can either pursue other things or not. I have historically taken time for myself before going for anyone else.

Yes. My boyfriend and I had broken up and I started seeing someone else. We broke up and got back together with my boyfriend because we had a child together and I wanted to make it work. Well I couldn't keep that other guy out of my head and I felt like I made a huge mistake. A few years later we had broken up again and I happened to bump into that guy again. We're now married with our 2nd child on the way 😘

Iv done that before but realized it was just being smitten. The beginning of something new is always more fun and thrilling but 99% of the time it ends up being the same just with someone new.. So me personally I'm just sticking with watering my own grass and not worrying what's on the other side. It makes me happier then always thinking about the "possibilitys´´

Yes.  Crucial to have integrity.  Either you stay with your current partner, focusing on the relationship and making it work if it has potential, or you can recognize that it isn't serving you and your needs, and break up to create space for a healthier more fulfilling partner.

Now, I do think our society is prone to selfishness in relationships, expecting and taking more than giving to them.  Opposite extreme is being so desperate to be liked/loved that an individual gives their all with very little return to a narsasistic abuser.

So really stop and consider what it is you want from a partner.  What is working a r what isn't in your current relationship.  If it is healthy to stay and work on things.  And if you do stay, create as much space as possible from the person you are attracted to.  Simply seeing the  attraction as an expression of qualities you value and want to cultivate.

Honestly, no. I've only been in one relationship and I've never been attracted to anyone else during that time.
