Simply because it's super popular in your area?

It's a family name on my husband's side and we are now realizing the name is really popular. We have two friends that named their daughter this within the last year and I know 5 women in my online pregnancy group who will name their daughters this. 5/50! Husband thinks it's a stupid reason to not use the name...
