I have a question. So if i conceived on June 17. Then the fetus age is 4 w 1d. Right? But the gestational age is 6w 1d. So in Ultrasoind i expect to see a 4 week pregnancy right?

Yeah the way due dates and how far along you are is calculated based on your estimated last period rather than when you actually conceived. It's weird. We got pregnant via IVF so we laugh at the fact that we're considered 6 weeks pregnant when 4 weeks ago we didn't even have the embryo implanted in us yet!

Thank you for asking this!!  I have my ultrasound Wednesday and was thinking about this today.  I'm so confused as to where baby will measure. Glow says I'll be 8 weeks. Fetus age will be 6 weeks but it will be 8w5d based on my first day of last period. Really curious where I really am.

The ultrasound will be called a 6 week 1 day foetus. So you should see a heartbeat etc ✨

I went for a scan on Thursday thinking I was 6 weeks 2days but it shows that I was only 5 weeks and 6 days. We were trying the shettles method to conceive a boy lol so I ovulated on the 15th and thats when we baby danced. So now I am 6 weeks 2 days according to the scan dates. Oh and we already saw the heart beating very good then and it was an external ultrasound. Hope that helps! :)
