I'm a mommy of a 13, 11 & 8 year old. As you all know kids grow up and they tend to get interested in sex in the process. My questions is what made you decide to wait until marriage how did your parents play a part in your decision.

I don't want to push my kids away in the process of trying to convince them into practice abstinence. Fact is I don't want my children to end up in the same situation as I did. Pregnant at 17 and regretting loosing my virginity to some idiot who pretended to love me.

If I can't convince them to wait until they get married I just want them to wait until they are a little older.

Please no comments on how I can't stop it or anything negative. I want advice on how to make it more likely that they would wait without forcing them.
