Our baby was unplanned and when my SO told his friends I was pregnant they were all reluctant to believe it was true. They said that girls in the past had said they were pregnant or thought they were just to work them up and get attention. My SO assured them that he had seen me take two tests and literally seen the gestational sac on an ultrasound and they were like "man idk". Is this really a common thing?? Do girls frequently pretend that they are pregnant? If so why?
