False positive possibilities?

Hey everyone! I have been TTC since September and my past 3 cycles I have been on chlomid...at first my blood tests indicated it was working, but my most recent blood test a week and a half ago showed that my progesterone was low and I possibly didn't ovulate...well today I tested because I'm 3 days late and immediately this BFP popped up! I'm just worried that it could be a false positive? Any input?

I was on Femara for a cycle. At 7dpo, I had my progesterone tested and it came back low where the nurse and Doctor said the cycle probably wouldn't be successful and I would have to up my dosage for the next cycle. 6 days later I got a BFP and am now almost 12 weeks pregnant. The body can do miraculous things and it only takes 1 sperm and 1 egg to meet to make a baby. I would say that's most definitely a real positive!

I was on metformin and I didn't think I was ovulating on it so I got my progesterone checked to see if I was or not so I could start clomid... And I got my BFP after that as well. I called my doctor and told her and she told me to come in and and she re checked my blood because she said my progesterone was low for me to have gotten pregnant that month as well. She put me on progesterone just in case but when the blood came back it was borderline. It was 14 and she said she wants it at 13 (I know a lot of people said doctors want it at 20) but she told me I could keep taking the progesterone just in case and that the extra wouldn't hurt if I didn't need it! So maybe you could just ask to get progesterone rechecked!

The chance of it being a false positive is highly unlikely. Make sure you call whoever your doctor is to let them know ASAP. Remind them to review your progesterone results. If it's low you may need to start supplementary progesterone to support the pregnancy. Congrats!!!
