19 and getting married!?

I need some helpful advice. Yes, I'm getting married at 19 because I absolutely love my fiance. What is some helpful tips for a long, happy marriage?? We are both in the Army so things may get a bit rough.

Communication is key. Make sure you help each other laugh every day.
I hear "never go to bed angry" but honestly, sometimes you need to sleep on it so you can understand things better. Take time to wrk through things logically to avoid emotional responses.
Most importantly, put each other first and you will never be wanting.

I got married when I was 16 and my husband was 21. We were both eachothers first and hopefully last. We just passed our 11 year anniversary and are pregnant again❤ Just know that life is not like a fairytale. Sometimes you have to compromise for eachother. We've had our ups and downs and have been through it all. Anytime we fight and get into arguments we stop talking for awhile untill we come to our senses, and realize how much we miss eachother. Just keep the mindset that marriage is forever and no matter what you will not leave eachother over pety things (unless ofcourse there's infidelity or abuse). Communication is also important. I always hear people say they broke up because of sexual incompatibility in the bedroom. Well I went through years without being fully satisfied lol but we worked it out together and now have the best sex ever. Also, the majority of time when one partner is not into sex or not wanting that intimacy is because of problems outside the bedroom. So you always want to get to the root of it. There were times where I went weeks without sex because of stress and lifes problems. So always be honest about everything,  tell eachother and show eachother what you want. Also, give eachother some room to breath once in a while, like go have a girls night once or twice a week with your friends, and him with his guy friends. Good luck!

I got engaged at 19 and I am getting married may of 2017! My advice to you is to remind each other of the little things and the remember when's... I'll be 20 but have been with my fiance for almost 4 years now. Yes were young, but love is love. We just got lucky enough to find it sooner! Good luck to you both. Oh and write little love letters, those melt my heart every time...

Realize that marriage is not easy, it's hard. And there's times being married sucks. You won't always like one another, you just have to agree to never give up and always work on your relationship. I was 19 too ,our 10th year anniversary is in September!! Always talk and make time for each other. we have 3 girls &boy on the way and I love him the same as 13 years ago when we first kissed ,well maybe even more bc he's an awesome father !!!
