Is anyone still scared?

Everything has looked good but I'm so scared of a late loss. Is it just me?

I made a conscious decision in my first trimester not to let myself fear what might happen - sounds impossible but i basically realised that if your scared of losing them all through the pregnancy then you might as well imagine them getting every horrible thing under the sun as a child, and all the other possible heartaches you might experience with them later in life. You worry because you love them so much - same as you do for your husband/partner and parents and friends - but you dont not pack for a holiday and get excited for it just in case the plane comes down on route, and you dont not buy the perfect dress for your wedding just in case the guy you love gets into an accident the day before. You dont normally think that way right? Basically i realised that as scared as i am that something will go wrong, its even more important to push aside those fears and enjoy this process as much as you can - not enjoying it now wont make any future losses any easier xxx hope this helps you to find a bit of peace in this - it really helped me to level the irrational thoughts out xx wishing you all the luck in the world x

I've had four normal ultrasounds, and normal blood tests and I still worry.

This is my third baby but fifth pregnancy. With my older girls, I remember having anxiety here and there but this one, I'm a nervous wreck at 18 weeks. I thought for sure that once I reached 12 weeks, I would worry less but I keep finding things to freak out about. It's ridiculous to be honest. Then I have anxiety that maybe my anxiety will cause something bad to happen. Ugh. I just want my baby to be healthy and not worry.

I'm not particularly worried, but my husband is!  I had a lot of bleeding and cramping in the first trimester and we were both freaked out.  Now I'm 20 weeks, and as long as my doctor thinks things are ok I'm inclined to just enjoy being pregnant (it took us 8 years to get pregnant--I really deserve to enjoy it!).  But daddy-to-be is still scared something bad will happen, although now that I'm showing and we know it's a girl he's also started showing more excitement, calling her by the name we've chosen, etc.

I'm 19 weeks and I worry....not as much as I used to but I do a girl I kno water broke today at 23 weeks and it freaked me out!!

Glad to see I'm normal ladies 😂..the way I look at things is, yes you could experience a late loss, but enjoy today and enjoy your pregnancy! I mean, we could all just walk outside to our mailboxes and die too but we don't lose sleep over it. Breathe in and breathe out :)

No. I'm 20 weeks and 2 days and still I worry - especially after reading some of the posts on here from women about their late losses - I was sure I'd be okay by now but I just read about another loss at 33weeks and now I'm just like 😳😟😖😨😰🤐
I just saw my daughter for her anatomy scan at 20 weeks and we even did genetic testing that said everything was okay but still - I'm a FTM with 5 previous (early) miscarriages under my belt and I'm just a massive massive wreck. We still haven't really told anyone about this pregnancy out of fear... I'm hoping that once I start feeling her move I'll maybe feel safer in this pregnancy

Oh yeah I worry all the time. We only had an u/s at ten weeks and won't do another until 20 weeks so it's hard to wait. We have had a heartbeat at every appointment and genetic screening came back ok, but there is always that nagging worry in the back of my mind. Just trying to enjoy everything when I can!
