One last vacation?

Question

Have a trip planned, would be leaving when I'm 34w 1d. Flying to Florida for a week. Doctor said I'm ok to fly and go but she said if she was me she wouldn't go because she's paranoid. Comments, suggestions, concerns?

It's a group of people going, one is an experienced nurse. I know to take health records along and such...

I say go! Enjoy your vacation! What's the worst that happens? You deliver while in Florida? I'm sure you can find a great place to deliver without any issue. It's not like you're visiting a third world country with no reliable health care. It may be an inconvenience but you'll have family with you to support you. A nice relaxing vacation before baby comes sounds wonderful!

I wouldn't. It's too risky in my opinion. Plus, at 34 weeks, I don't think you'd be able to enjoy it much anyway.

I honestly wouldnt go, just in case of the baby coming soon, i never thought before coming on this app that babies came early but wooah so many early deliveries. I couldnt be anywhere too far from home from now on lol and im only 20 weeks.

If it was me I would go. The chances of you having your baby in the 35th week isn't great, unless there is a GOOD chance your dates are wrong, then you never know. Otherwise if it were me I would go enjoy myself. I flew and went on a trip at 33 weeks. It's not quite 34-35 weeks but it's still not full term and my doctor gave me the ok. If it weren't ok or really was too risky, they would say no ;)
