Ok to travel?

Question

I plan on checking with my OB, but wanted to get your opinion first. 
What's the latest I am "allowed" to travel prior to due date?
 I am needing to take a trip (12 hours of driving or 3 hour flight) and hoping to schedule it a month before I'm due. 
Any suggestions?

I will be traveling about a month before my DD as well. When I discussed with my doctor he said that as long as I stop every 2-3 hours to stretch and allow blood flow it was fine. He said it didn't have to be long just 5 minutes or so.

I am flying from Dallas to Seattle at 30 weeks. It's a four hour flight non stop. My doctor told me I'm grounded at 34 weeks, so that will be my last business trip for the year. He recommended compression socks and plenty of fluids. The airlines often require a doctors note (within the last 72 hours or more recently) if you are within four weeks of your due date. It varies by carrier.

It's the airlines you'll have to worry about. They don't want you flying in your last month or so even with s doctors note it can be tough. I'd rather fly than drive for 12hrs that close to the due date

Most airlines won't let you fly the last month of pregnancy, most docs will clear anything earlier as long as you're healthy .

I just flew to Portland and back to Oklahoma last week. But I'm only 20 weeks. My doc was okay with it but recommended compression socks and lots of water while flying to help with my circulation. I'm not sure how late into pregnancy you can fly. You might want to check with your doctor. A month prior to your due date may be too late.
