Help to understand BBT

Im am soooo comfused... after ovulation my bbt was in the range if 98.5 and higher , it's been 12 days since my ovulation past and now it's in the 99.1 and higher...im comfused? Am I getting my period or could I be pregnant...I've also noticed alot of white cervical mucus , sometimes even stretchy....im so comfused. Im new to these things. Never checked my bbt before n have seen that much stretchy white cervical mucus...
