Fundoplication
I had b/g twins at 35 weeks. My boy came home after 3 weeks, my daughter is still there in NICU, she is 5 weeks old. Her first week of life, she aspirated and got Pneumonia. She has had a wet cough since then. She has had 2 other occasions where a part of her lung lobes have collapsed, but albuterol and CPT helped open up the area. They have done barium swallow test, 24hr pH probe test, multiple chest x-rays with just sign so mild reflux. Now they are talking about doing a fundoplication if she can't hold her 60 min feedings and has lung issues due to the feedings. I would like to know, what was your experience, how long did your child have the Mickey button for, and/or did you do other options? I am desperate here! Thank you
