Is it bad/disrespectful

Is it bad if i talk to a guy friend while married ? I just found on Facebook an old guy friend that i haven't known about in years we lost contact but i sent him a friend request and im married is it bad if i message him and just catch up ? He was never nothing more than a friend it was just a friendship
