Did you poop during birth?

I didn't, but that was one of my biggest fears! I know they are used to it, but still!

I was induced, so I went into the hospital on a Monday night at 11 PM. I was told I wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything after I was admitted in, because of the possibility of needing a c-section. Anywho, skip to Tuesday morning, I was ready to push at 11:55 AM and the doctor told me "Honey, you will know when to push, you will feel like you have to poop, when you have that feeling, push as hard as you can and don't worry, you won't poop! It will be okay". So, I followed what she said and 8 minutes later, my daughter was born. After she came out, I heard people saying "SHE POOPED, SHE POOPED!" and I just stopped and looked around mortified and finally the doctor looked at my face and they busted out laughing and she said "Oh sweetie, not you, your baby! She pooped all over our scrubs after she was born!". Sure enough, they were covered and my daughter was covered in her poop and I just sighed with relief lol I even asked my husband, who looked the entire time, if he was sure I didn't poop and unless they are all lying to me, I was very fortunate and didn't. It cracks me up now thinking of all of that, but I was so terrified at the time thinking I had pooped 😂

I pooped everywhere.. But they don't care lol they treat it the same as if you were bleeding or whatever- plus I didn't care lol I just wanted baby out! Plus I knew I was pushing right.

I really love the idea of a water birth, but the thought of pooping in water that I'm in really grosses me out...

Even with my epidural I could feel the turds squeeze out lol

My midwife says "what happens in the delivery room stays in the delivery room"

I think i did with my son they were very discreet about it quickly picked it up and got rid of it its natural they tell you to push like your pooping theres nothing else to expect 😂 x

I haven't given birth yet but I'm not scared about pooping lol. It's all natural and they've seen it a million times so probably expect it at this point. If I do and I don't realize, I don't think they will be able to hide it though because my fiancé will probably gag or throw up!! 😂😂

Yes!!! 🙈🙊 It happens & it's okey! It happened to me with my second baby... My mom was there she quickly clean it up I was more worried about that anyone else in the room. The nurses were like don't worry about it .....but I kept on asking my mom if I had popped. 😷💩😂  I just remember they kept on telling me " push don't talk, just push" 
So it's ok if you do! At that point anything can happen and you won't get criticized for popping. They are use to it!😜💩

Yup.  And the nurses wiped it away so fast and quietly I didn't even know it had happened.  My hubby finally told me what I'd done months later.  I was embarrassed but I realize the nurses have seen it all and that's why they're paid so much.

My friend pooped during labor and it went onto the doctors shoe somehow. Then when the baby was born she (the baby) projectile shat on the doctors scrubs 😂 her doctor just laughed and said it wasnt the first or last time it would happen.
