Should I feel bad?

My husband refused to have sex with me. I'm currently 26 weeks and 4 days. He says it's awkward. I'm honestly hurt. I feel bad enough that I look like a whale. Should I feel bad?

My husband is uncomfortable having sex too. I'll admit I  took it personally initially, but it's got nothing to do with me at all. He feels like the baby will know what we are doing and it freaks him out. I'm trying to be understanding, but I've about reached my limit.

I'm in the same boat. Never felt so un-sexy in my life. I want sex...He's hesitate. Makes me feel terrible. He says it's not me and that he just feels awkward. I ask him if he misses it and he says yes but that he's ok. I told him if he doesn't start using it soon it will close up and baby won't know where to come out...we both just laughed. I know he loves me. It's not as enjoyable as it once was but it will be again. Head up love.

That sounds ridiculous to me. Your belly is adorable! Don't let him bring you down. Try to enjoy this precious (yet somewhat miserable) time. 😃 And you won't be able to have sex for like 6weeks after you deliver (if you do it vaginally.) So if he doesn't take advantage of his opportunity now, it is going to be a long 6 weeks for him.

My husband swears he is gonna feel babe and rubbing bellies is a little awkward so I just reassured him that he can't reach baby and we only do positions where there is no belly rubbing . Lmao  it took my Husband a lot of convincing once my belly got big! Just talk openly about it and just tell him how you feel, maybe he can do some research or ask doctor about his concerns and just tell him to keep an open mind . Oh, I also told my Husband he better realize there is no love making for 6 weeks after our son is born and that made him change his mind ! 😂😂

I'm 26 weeks Tuesday and going through a wonderful time of decreased self confidence.. My husband won't have sex with me either because he also says it's awkward.  At first I was upset,  but then I realized it would probably be weird for me if I was in his shoes too... Not because I am unattractive but because he feels like he would be poking the baby even though he knows he's not 😊

I don't understand his problem. 😕 Is he afraid he will harm the baby? Sex should be safe unless your doctor has told you to refrain from it. Why would it be awkward? You are the same person. He should be comfortable with you. He is the one that should feel bad....not you.

I'm on the opposite end of this. Mostly because A) Every joint hurts all the time now, and B) During sex, I can feel baby's reactive movements and it feels so physically uncomfortable that I have to stop. I have to let him know repeatedly that it's not him, it's me being so physically uncomfortable.

This describes my husband to a T.   He wants to do other things.. but when it comes to sex he feels awkward about it because "there is someone in there".  I complain that he is being ridiculous. . Why would a grown man be weirded out by pregnancy it's a beautiful and wonderful thing and they're the ones who got us here! My fiancé can't get enough,  I wish he would deny me sex bc I'm pregnant!
