Help!!!! My cat has this waxy stuff coming out of her right ear frequently. Its black and dry most of the time! Is this normal ?!

Are there scabs present in her ears at all? As if she's been scratching? 
It looks like it could be a yeast infection..but it could also be ear mites. My dog gets yeast infections often, but that's because she's got big ears and it's easy for moisture build up. So I am not too sure how common yeast infections are in cats. 
But, I use an ear rinse and when she gets an infection I clean it a few times and usually goes away.

I have 13 cats that's just ear wax like we have but just looks different

it's not ear mites unless it's scabby I should know I went to school for this I took animal science at boces. her ears are just dirty just clean it with ear cleaner and a cotton ball and it should be fine but if it's scabby I would take her to the vet and get her looked at

Definitely ear mites! My roommate had a cat that got these, be careful because they spread to other animals easily. Take him to the vet they'll take care of them easily and usually not too expensive!

Does it look more like coffee grounds? Or does it smell? Yeast sometimes smells. I would take her to the vet. She probably needs ear drops or something. But don't take it from me (vet tech grad) please talk to a vet.

If the secretion looks kind of like coffee grinds, it’s ear mites. Has she been scratching a lot? If so, it can be damaging to her ear. She needs to go to the vet so that they can dispense the proper medication. Also, if it is mites and you have another animal (like a dog or a cat) they can catch the mites as well! I would make an appointment ASAP

Looks like a yeast infection in the ear. It’s not ear mites like everyone else is saying. Ear mites look like coffee grounds, black and the cat would have scabby ears. I just went through a round of it with my poor kitties and they all were crying in pain it hurt so bad.
