Sexual Labels for Predators

Pedophiles are attracted to prepubescent children. So a person who is exhibiting predatory behavior to, say, a 15 year old isn't a pedophile. They're a hebephile. 

And people who exhibit this same behavior/attraction towards minors who have hit or nearly completed puberty are ephebophiles.

It just sets me on edge. I don't know why. It really bugs me that everyone is labeled a pedophile. I've seen some 20-somethings that look 12 and some older teens (16/17) who look like they're in their mid twenties. 

I'm not approving of anything (people need to take responsibility and do due diligence before entering relationships), but it really bugs me. 

Edit: A lack of data is not a correlation to make assumptions. Yes I'm sickened by the idea of children being taken advantage of, being victims of predators, being raped. It's disgusting. On the same token as a person who is sincerely keen on topics of psychology and sociology yes, technical terms DO bother me. Not nearly to the extent. I was unaware everyone had to made known how nauseating and horrifying they find the rape of children. 🙄
