When did you announce your pregnancy??

Good morning, ladies!
Just wondering when y'all decided to make the big announcement on social media about your little peanuts. I'm about 8 weeks and our close family knows and we're surprising our grandparents this week with cute cards BUT when did YOU post on Facebook that you were expecting your miracle?? 
I'm super excited but can definitely wait because I love surprising people. 
Any advice is most appreciated!

This is mine and my husband's first baby and we waited until almost the third trimester, I was well into my 6th month before a single person (even close friends and family) knew we were pregnant.

I hate announcements so much.

Our cost ultrasound at 11 weeks

We did it at 9 weeks. I wanted to wait until 12 but I just couldn't.

I told my family at 7 weeks. Announced to the rest of the would at 13 weeks  (second trimester).

We are waiting for our first ultrasound next week. Told parents last week. Currently 7 weeks.

All my family knew as soon as I found out I was pregnant simply because this is my first but I didn't announce on Facebook until 20 weeks when I had my anatomy scan pics and a bump lol. Plus I wanted to make sure everything was going fine with the baby before announcing to the world.

5 weeks at the moment, have only told my mum (and my husband, of course!) waiting until after 12 weeks to tell in-laws/ brother/ work/ friends & probably won't put anything on face book until 20 + weeks...

Told parents almost immediately. Didn't announce to social media/extended family until 14 weeks

Immediate family knows and have know since day 1. And social media does not. I feel that my pregnancy is for myself and family to enjoy, not everyone else. That is my opinion though. 
Once baby is born the announcement will be made on social media. 😊

Close friends and family knew after 3-4 months. I don't have social media so the circle is small and I love it!
