Anemia..anyone else?

Just got my diabetes results and they are negative but my doctor told me i have anemia and to take supplements... Anyone else ?

Me too! Someone just posted this too but they have to have iron transfusions  (??) Idk 
I'm doing fine with the supplements just have to stagger them so it's distributed throughout the day.

I have been anemic since I was 17 but it gets really bad during pregnancy and results in blood transfusions no matter what they prescribe to keep up with it. Eat lots of iron rich food and take your iron pills and whatever else your Dr has prescribed me and you should be good.

Me!!! Got the same phone call.   I just started taking it 3 days ago.   I Don't notice a difference either way.  Just gotta do what we gotta do to keep our babies and us all good.

I take 325mg. 3 times a day!!! Just found out I have moderate/severe anemia.

Yes, just found out the same way that there s no diabetes but moderate to severe anemia. Doctor prescribed otc Ferral Sequel so i am taking that every day. It helped me sleep better and i dont feel as tired anymore. Try to eat food rich in iron like red meat, tofu, soy, beet..etc.

Yep. Apparently 1/3 pregnancies results in mild anemia.

Yep, I actually had a swollen tongue for two weeks....turns out it was from anemia

I have to take iron every night. At first it made me nauseous but now it really helps with restless legs. And the nausea from them have gone away.

Anemia..anyone else?
