Need some input....

So my husband and I have talked about trying for baby #2 around October... And hoping I will get pregnant after our daughter turns 1... BUT my sister just found out she's pregnant which I am SUPER excited about! (This will be my first niece or nephew) but my M-I-L said I was going to get pregnant just because my sister is.... Although me and my husband discussed it 2 months ago on when we are going to start trying for baby #2... It hurt my feelings because I do not want to get pregnant and have everyone thinking I got pregnant just because my sister is... Her comment "I told everyone you'd get pregnant next just because of Haley." I tried explaining to her that I am not having a baby now.... But she wouldn't listen... And now I don't even want to try for baby #2 because of that... What do y'all think? I'm so confused... I want to try but don't want to hear "oh you just got pregnant because your sister is" or "oh you want all the attention so you went and got pregnant".... Please help....
