Doppler devastating for the fetus????

Question

Last week  I had my first prenatal care I was so excited to hear my baby's heartbeat I was 9 weeks and 5 days. The doctor did a quick ultrasound and showed me the heart. I asked the doctor can I hear my baby's heart? And she was like dopplers are devastating and I don't want to put the fetus on risk I was like okkkk!:/ never hear something like that.

My doctor said the opposite !!  Told me they are perfectly fine...can almost never trust doctors as it comes down to personal preference sometimes lol need a doctor who stays up to date with all the latest research

I thought you were supposed to be able to hear the heartbeat at every appointment , so once a.month .maybe to make sure baby is okay. How will they know if the baby is alive if you don't check? I'm 10w3d with #1 and I have yet to heat my baby's heartbeat. I saw it at 7w6d but I'm terrified that next time I go we won't hear it and what if something is wrong.

So weird because I asked my OB today at my 8 week appt and she said it's not harmful and use it if I would like to....

My doctor only shows the heartbeat until the second trimester- then we hear it at each appt after that.

My doctor told me that today!!!! And I've been using mi home fetal Doppler like crazy! I feel bad!!! The way it works is that it throws waves that hit the baby and when the baby is too small it can cause his heart to stop

I had heard this, which is why I don't have one, I have seen others say that they were told to only use it once a week.

I'm freaking out now. I used it 3 days ago at 9 weeks and finally found a heartbeat. I tried twice yesterday and couldn't find it. Today my pregnancy symptoms have disappeared. After 2 missed miscarriages I'm scared. I want to try again in hopes of hearing that precious heartbeat so I'll know everything is ok. I'm worried I've already screwed everything up. If I caused this miscarriage I will never be able to forgive myself...

I'm 11 weeks and I use one daily with my twins since about 8 weeks and my doctor actually recommended it if I wanted peace of mind
