Testing me

Long story short: I have been actively trying for 10 months, my husbands tests all came back normal, and I'm on 50mg of clomid for my 5th month. I have no strange symptoms, never had bad periods, and we know that I am definately ovulating bc of blood tests. Now that my husband has been cleared, they want to start doing some pretty evasive testing on me. Just kinda freaked out. Has anyone had the hsg test done to see if their tubes were blocked? Did it hurt? Were you drugged/under anesthesia? How long did the testing take? Will I need to take a day off work and arrange to have someone drive me? Any advise helps.
