IUD Removal

Hi! So, I got my Mirena IUD in July 2015. Since then it's been kind of up and down. I got a regular period pretty much every month until about April. Then it was symptoms with no period for 2 months, then it was fairly heavy period that lasted about  1.5 weeks this month. I just hate not knowing what to expect from it. I've had a terrible time having ovarian cysts since I got it. And I bleed after almost every time my boyfriend and I have sex. I'm considering getting it removed and going back on a pill. I never liked pills because they usually make me sick one way or another, but if it means no more pain or bleeding during sex I'm all for it lol. Just looking for any insight or anybody that can maybe relate? Thanks!
