I'm 16 but been in a relationship forever and I really love the guy. He talks about waiting for me to turn 18 and he's gonna purpose. Is that a good idea?

Not to sound rude but I wouldn't wait on that .Your 16 live your life first then think about a relationship and getting married. I'm 21 and I'm not even worried about marriage right now my time will come soon and so will yours!

Just go with the flow and see what happens. By 18 youll most likely develop your own opinion on marriage and when you want to. And who knows, by then you might not be together. A lot of things can happen over just a few years! Don't make yourself commit to something that's so far away when you haven't even developed your own opinion on it. :) no need to think about that stuff now, you're still so young!

If you haven't graduated highschool yet you do not need to get married. If you have been together forever (which is great!) you should be able to last forever without being married right now, so soon. Finish getting YOUR OWN SEPARATE lives together. Once you both are graduated, in college, completely faithful to eachother know what you want in life and know where you want to go in life as a couple THEN talk about marriage. So just wait. I can't promise it'll be easy but it'll be worth it.
