Microdermal Piercings?

Does anyone here have a microdermal piercing of sorts? If so, What was your experience & where on your body do you have one? I'm super into them and am considering getting one myself 😬 just kinda want to know what I'd be getting myself into. Pictures are always welcome!!!

One of my friends had one right in the middle of her chest like above her cleavage. It was cute but it got ripped out when she was having some crazy sex in the bathroom. Now she has a scar which is not so cute lol.

I got one under my collar bone when I was 20, and it finally came out when I was 24. I miss it

I got microdermal piercings in my back dimples when I was 21. One rejected about a year later, the other is still firmly implanted (I'm 26). It looks a bit silly with just the one, but I'm too chicken to have it removed.

As far as the piercing process goes, it isn't too too bad. The piercing artist will use a small chisel like tool to create a hole, then slide the dermal in boot first. The boot has small holes for your body tissue to grow through, anchoring the piercing. It IS more painful than other piercings (at least to me it was). I've had my belly button, tongue, nose and tragus all done at one point or another. The microdermals were by far the worst.

You have to take very good care of them as dermals have a high rejection rate. You'll want to have them placed in an area that isn't frequently rubbed by clothing or otherwise irritated.
