It depends on how much tissue the doctor biopsies. I've had 3 separate occasions where I've had to get cervical biopsies done. Take Tylenol like an hour before your procedure. My first experience wasn't bad, but the last one I had done hurt more. It will feel like a pinch/cramp when they snip the tissue. They will also put some yellow goopy stuff in as an internal bandage to help with bleeding. Over the next few days to a week the internal bandage will come out and will pass with your regular vaginal/cervical discharge. It will look like flesh colored and may come
Out in one big piece or several pieces lver the course of a few days. Don't freak out this is normal. Just let your body heal.

It is not pleasant but bearable. You feel scraping/pressure. You could bleed a little for a few days and have some some funky discharge if they put any cream up there to help clot I think.

I would take some advil before hand ..I've had 2 and to me they were pretty painful. Every time they snipped a piece I got a severe cramp and I stayed cramping for a few hrs. But not everyone has the same experience
