Ovulation?

When you are ovulating, is it a 24/7 thing? Is there a certain time of the day where it peaks? I'm being notified that I'm ovulating, I just don't know anything about it..

Ovulation is a single event point and the egg will live for about 12-24 hours after ovulation. However, sperm can live in the track for 5-7 days so you fertile period extends to the week prior to ovulation as long as the information you've placed in the glow app is accurate. Hope that helps

Ovulation happens when the egg is released from the ovary. It happens very quickly in a matter of minutes on one day of your cycle. Your fertile days are the days leading up to ovulation and the 24 hours following.

I'm confused too. Just got the notification that I am. But when I check my cycle it seems the blue circles are my safe days.
Or which is it?
Is it the blue circles or green ones which indicate ovulation?
