Being forced to go to church
I kind of think my parents force Christianity on me.
I mean I am a Christian and I do belive in God but I turn 18 next month and I'm still being forced to go to church every Sunday even if I sit there irritated in a bad mood.
I've been doing this all my life.
My mom makes it a must for me to go to church every Sunday then when I say I don't feel like it Shes like do you worship the devil or something. Like common
Even on New Years im being forced to go to church to pray into the New Years. Then the pastor doesn't even count down properly. She waits till like 10 minutes in then counts down. So a whole another New Years since the last 10 years of my life not enjoyed.
Her response
You must go ! You have to go !
No child of mines in this house will stay home on New Years.
You want to be like all those other people who go and drink on New Years.

She's so pressed on not letting me fall into the american traditional. Since we are Nigerians.
