Ovulation Kit

Has anyone skipped a high day of conceiving and gone straight to peak?  I took an ovulation kit yesterday and was not ovulating, today I took one and poof a solid smiley face indicating peak.  Now of course this changes my fertile week on glow saying yesterday was high even though I received a negative ovulation test.  So now I'm just confused.  Has this happened to anyone before or anyone know how this happens?   Any insight appreciated.  Thank you!
