Sushi before BFP?!

Question

Here's the story, my moms birthday was the 10th and my dads birthday is the 24th. For their present my sister and I were going to make a collage of pics of all their kids and grand kids. Well if I'm pregnant I want to add an ultrasound to surprise them. My sister knows I have had two faint positives and is in on it with me but we are still waiting for actual confirmation.

Now to the sushi part, my mom, sister and I are supposed to go on a sushi date this Saturday and my sister said I should check if it's ok to eat sushi right now. I don't want my mom suspicious because she knows my love for sushi. Any advice?

Also I will include my two faint positives for some insight on those as well. The top was yesterday afternoon and the bottom was FMU this morning.

My OB said sushi is fine as long as you are at a reputable place. Don't trust sushi from the gas station or anything 😂 also watch for fish containing high mercury, like tuna. Seafood in the medium to high mercury range should be limited to one serving our week. You can google the fish with high content and just try to avoid it!

Maybe get sushi that's cooked and not raw? Like I get tempura stuff a lot (I like raw too) and then it wouldn't be fishy (pun definitely intended).

I ate sushi my entire pregnancy. I trust the places that I went and I only ate one roll with tuna and the rest without high Mercury fish. My OB said its outdated advice.

Those look positive but I have a question, why did you take them out of the casing? Only wondering because I've done this and it's come up positive recently!
