HCG numbers?

Mandy
I had blood work done on Monday at my Gyno office and when the nurse called to tell me that I was in fact pregnant I asked her for the HcG number. She told me that the test they did was a simple "yes" or "no" test which I think is bull shit. Last year around this time I was in the ER having a miscarriage and they asked what my HcG number was when I was tested because they wanted to compare levels. I didn't have that number (first pregnancy so I didn't think to ask) so they couldn't verify that I was in fact miscarrying. I don't see my OB until Aug 2nd and I'm worried. I am guessing that I'm 6 weeks today.
