I got my IUD! UPDATE

Since ive seen a lot of posts of women wondering about the IUD insertion, i wanted to give you guys my first hand experience. I was nervous about the pain but it really wasnt that bad ! I know everyone is different but this is how it went for me.... Doctor told me all the risks and then i got up on the stirrups. She put this thing in place to hold my vagina open. She cleaned my cervix and measured it to know how far to put the IUD in.  When she did this she counted to three and told me to cough as hard as i could on three. I did this and felt minimal pain. Just discomfort. Then when it came to her actually putting in the IUD she told me to wiggle my toes ( as i held the nurses hand because i was nervous) and i would rate the pain as a 3 on a scale of 10! It felt like a mini contraction in my lower abdomen.  It was done literally 10 minutes ago and im not cramping YET... Will update you all later if i am cramping or in pain. Best of wishes to you ladies :)
*UPDATE**
It is now 5 hours after my IUD insertion and i am cramping but it feels like mild period cramps. Nothing ridiculously painful. Im spotting a little bit but it is what i expected. Took ibuprofen and hoping for them to dull off.
