Did you spot after ultrasound in early pregnancy

I had my first ultrasound yesterday at 6w3d. And I am spotting brown today. Wondering if this is normal. I am a fertility patient not sure if that matters

Answer

The cervix is extra vascularized because of the rise in estrogen.   If it was a vaginal ultrasound some of those might have ruptured.  Keep and eye on it and if it turns bright red contact your doc asap
