When did you get stretch marks?

My mother gained 60ish pounds when she was pregnant with me and has stretch marks everywhere... thighs, behind, stomach, breasts, etc. My sister-in-law gained 50 pounds and has one tiny one under her navel and her breasts. Just curious, I'm 5 months and have gained about 8 pounds, so crossing my fingers it's the weight gain that's the major factor.

I was lucky enough never to get any. What I did, every night, I put this shea butter cream on my stomach and boobs, it worked! I looked like a glazed donut afterwards, but it felt soooo good too. Try to get some of that, it's really amazing!

Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated and your skin's elasticity improve when you grow!

Got them in the last couple weeks of pregnancy. Had none up to week 35. Then boom! I gained 49 lbs with the one I got stretch marks with.

I haven't ever put on more than 10-14lbs in my pregnancies, and my entire stomach is covered in them. Genetics can play a part, depends on the type of skin you have. Although excessive or fast weight gain definitely can contribute to them developing.
