Is it dangerous to have sex in a salt water or chlorinated pool?

My boyfriend and I have always found it sexy to have a little fun in his hot tub or my pool and sometimes in the shower. Just wondering if it's a good idea or not? I've heard from other people that you can sometimes get infections from it so I want to know what all of you ladies have to say.😊

You are more prone to getting an infection because of the chemicals in the pool. Make sure to still use some form of protection cause sperm can still swim when in a pool or hot tub. I say go for it if you really want to but just be aware that you could get a yeast infection or uti.

I'm from Florida and I can tell you that sex + salt water DO NOT MIX!!!! It dries up and takes away your natural lubricant. And it's never as romantic or as fun as you think it's going to be.
