Am I over reacting? Help!

Yesterday was my birthday I don't know if I'm over reacting or not but my husband never once told me happy birthday until I told him you haven't said it and his response was he was waiting for the right time. He never gave me a card or anything. I'm not trying to sound selfish but the card could of been hand written just something to let me know you care. Well he went to Walmart with one of his friends and the friend even asked him to pick something out for me and he would pay for it and my husband told him no. I just had our second child a month ago so I'm not sure if I'm emotional or if I have a right to be upset
