Its a nightmare

My girlfriend that I proposed to of 3 years has left me because I was abusive and used to hit her but I won't do it anymore... I feel so lost with out her. If I could get another chance I wouldn't mess up... But it's so sad to hear that she's finally found Mr. right elsewhere. He does everything much better than I do. He's handsome and I always see her and him laughing and enjoying themselves. It's tearing me apart, I want her back... What should I do?
