Bad news!

So I got a letter from my obgyn today, stating that my Pap smear was negative for cancer, but they want to do a colposcopy because they found some unknown cells. Could this ruin my change for a BFP this month? If I do get a BFP this month would this effect the baby? Any insite will help :( I don't trust google any more lol.
