Nightmares from Birth Control?

I've been having nightmares since I started taking the pill. I know correlation does not equal causation, but I was wondering if this is a common occurrence. I've also been super stressed lately. These nightmares have gotten so bad that I don't even feel relieved when I wake up... I just feel disturbed and scared

I used to get nightmares a week before my period off bc (part of my PMS). I still get them occasionally on bc, but it's much less frequent. Nightmares can definitely be caused by hormonal changes and also stress.
