Not sure if controversial but trying to get feedback.

We both have Crazy exes. For some reasons they are obsessed with trying to push us away from our children and make us look bad even though we aren't doing anything against court or the law. We work and pay our bills and just want to see our kids and have a happy peaceful life. It's been two years we have been together and we are still dealing with psycho issues. Why do people put kids in the middle and can't let the past go? Why make the kids suffer because they have a personal issue? It seems so pointless and childish to me. We also want to have a baby sometime in the future and that will probably cause drama too. Why?
