4dpo too early for Implantation Cramps?

Was at work (I work 3rds) and as I was sitting in one of the chairs writing a residents progress report I got a sharp pain by my right ovary. It hurt enough to stop me and make me say "ouch!". It happened a few more times within the night and then stopped. My question is, can you experience the cramps this early on?! It makes sense that you would be able to I mean if women are getting bfps at 6-8dpo that would have to mean they implanted between 3-6dpo!
