How do you tell when he's the one?

Question

Did you ladies know that the guy you're with/married to was the one? Or how long did it take and how did you know? 
I'm currently with this guy right now but I know he is not the one. I can just tell... And I can't see myself spending the rest of my life with him right now. I don't know if it's worth staying in the relationship to see how it goes or what...

How I knew my wife was the one: I never had to question if she was or wasn't, I just knew.

I knew right away. Me and my hubby we just clicked. I know that sounds cheesy but it's true!

I just knew with my husband we fell so in love but we had the chance to connect mentally and emotional first before we actually met and at the time we were just friends who talked a lot and vented to one another.  He had just went through a divorce after almost 20 years of marriage she was cheating on him and me I was married but getting ready to ask for a divorce my wife and I at the time were just having problems after almost four years of being together. And my ex wife is still my best friend we are close.

I knew when he told me stuff he'd never told anyone before, when he promised he would kiss me for the first time, chickened out and got the bus back to meet me after college so he could keep his promise, when he understood that i worry and didnt get mad and reassured me, when he knew there was something wrong and when i was about to cry before even i did, when one day i was upset and he was about to go get painkillers for his splitting headache but saw me tear up and hugged me instead. I knew he was the one when i we went to our 12 week ultrasound and i saw how in love he already was with our little baby

Never vibed with anyone the way I vibe and feel with the new guy I'm dating it's been almost a year. It's different he's everything I've always wanted I can only hope for the best

I could tell, after our first date, we got together in November and the following year in September and going on 7 years of marriages we are still going strong, we have been through hell and back but we are still going strong, nothing is coming between us, we are ttc our second child after a miscarriage in February and our daughter just turned 6 in June

I knew I wanted him in my life after our 1st date, didn't know 4 sure he was "the one" until after I'd spent time w/ his (at the time) 3 year old son & the 3 of us traveled across country to spend X-mas w/ his family. We had 8 days straight together & it just felt right. I moved in w/ him a week after we got back, we were engaged 6 months later & married exactly 1 year & a day after our 1st date. We'll have our 2 year wedding anniversary in November & expecting a baby in February :)
