Husband has hit me

Husband hit me... He saw an old picture from when we were dating. In the picture he saw a group of friends and I had my arm draped over a mans shoulder like men hug each other. He said I was cheating and threw me around and punched my mouth...my mouth is better my arms are bruised...how do you get past something like that?
