What event or argument have you an your partner been through that has made you a stronger couple?

He got someone else pregnant

He was in a major manager job & he became so obsessed with making $ he was never home & always uber-stressed. When he was home, he was grouchy & wanted to be left alone. The Co. moved us & he was the area boss... It got even worse. I got really sick & couldn't work for a month. Needed the hospital, but I had no one to take care of our kids (2 & 6) . I managed to get well enough to get a new job & 3 months later I cornered him. I asked quietly 'Do you want a divorce? If It will make you HAPPY or your make life easier, I'll take the kids& go." & I started packing the next morning. That night, he said 'no. I work hard for you guys.' & I explained that he hasn't worth being around. the kids are scared of you, don't even know you. You don't know them. You make me feel lower than dirt.  After that things improved gradually & he got a new job the next summer, after he took a 2 week hiatus to just hang w us.  8 years later, we're better than ever!

We had just passed our six month mark the day before and he dropped the bomb on me saying he'd stopped loving me as a girlfriend 3 weeks ago and didn't have the courage to tell me...needless to say I was petrified. Broke up for all of 24 hrs then he said it was the work day of his life, now here we are happy and communicative as ever. Ladies PLEASE communicate🙄 it is the most important thing. After talking over dinner it calmed down now we're happy again 😍☺️
