Hi ladies ... 41+3

I'm 41+3 .... My midwife wants to wait another five days to induce while the ob says I should be induced tomorrow... It's my third baby and previously my two babies were vaginally born at 39weeks ... Since I have two options I don't know who to listen to... Any words of wisdom???

I would listen to the ob. The placenta can start to deteriorate, the baby could be too large for a vaginal birth, etc. For me there are too many risks waiting much longer. I personally wouldn't. But that's your call.

I agree, I'd take the OB's way. There's risks once you're too far along. Good luck!

Def listen to the ob! After 40'weeks it gets tricky being monitored to make sure baby isn't in distress and then the placenta starts to deteriorate. That's what I was told. I was going to wait until 41 weeks but I have a blood clotting issue and my numbers have been normal and good so my dr suggested To do induction at 40 weeks.

I'd listen to an ob over a midwife but maybe  that's just me
