Bleach pregnancy test; anyone ever heard of this?

I was reading on the internet about homemade DIY pregnancy test and came across something called the bleach pregnancy test and that if it foams and/or fizzes you are pregnant. Anyone else heard of this?

Inaccurate AND highly toxic.. instead of doing it outside, I'll say don't do it at all. . A dollar store pregnancy test is just as acurate as the 25 bux ones at walgreens. .

Last month mine bubbled over the top of the cup, while my wife's barely fizzed at all. I got my period 2 days early. For us, it wasn't accurate. Also, do it outside. The fumes are extremely toxic!

Thanks Sara. I've done it five times and it's the same result. I've also done the sugar and pine sol test. The pine sol turned a darker color, supposedly the positive outcome. Sugar is supposed to clump if positive and dissolve if negative. Mine just kinda pooled to the bottom of the cup, not quite clumped, not quite dissolved. Any word on those?

Urine and bleach should never be mixed. It created bad toxins and unhealthy to inhale. If you look at toilet cleaner it even says to flush it away before going to the toilet.

@lauren I would love to except I don't  get paid til next week and I already have four children. Money is tight right now and no I don't have anyone to borrow a dollar from or I would've done that already. Just trying to get some info and to see if anyone else has tried it before. Nothing wrong with experiments. That's how u find out new things. Thanks for the advice though!

Bleach will ALWAYS bubble when urine is added to it. It's a chemical response. It's like saying if you put hydrogen peroxide on a blood stain and it fizzes you have AIDS, it will always fiz due to the chemicals in the substances fusing with each other. I dot. Recomend doing this in an inclosed area as it is VERY toxic
